I was very excited to show Angie her images from your maternity session. She looked amazing and she brought the glam with the shoes and accessories which made it really fun. As a dancer she was a natural at posing her body and shaping herself into beautiful positions and she looked fantastic! I am really looking forward to meeting their baby in a couple of months and capturing some beautiful Madonna poses with her and the newest member of their family.

This beautiful little doll was already a couple of months old by the time I got to meet her for the first time. This can be a tricky age because they are still so small that they can’t hold themselves up, but they are so much bigger than they were as a newborn. Newborns can be really sleepy and curl up into a little ball but after a couple of weeks many are not as willing to do that anymore. Also, by 2 months they already have a sense of what they like and don’t like to do so they get a little more involved in the decision making of what poses we are going to be doing. Little Miss E had some feelings on this and we worked with her to find just the right position that made her happy.

Maybe she is dreaming of becoming a dancer like her stunning Mommy.

I am so looking forward to this wedding!!

Those of you that have been with me for the last few years may have asked me if I shoot weddings and generally my answer is no. That being said, I do enjoy doing a few each year and this couple is exciting and fun and I am really looking forward to their wedding day in a couple of weeks. This couple was ready to have some fun and are they sexy or what?

I was so excited when I got the call that this beautiful family was having a second baby! They had a stunning little girl and now they were having a little boy to complement this perfect family. I was amazed to meet this little guy at just 4 days old. He looked exactly like his sister did when she was born. I love working with this family.Look at how wide open his eyes are at only 4 days old!Please feel free to leave a comment below.

Wow, this is one busy family. I have to admit that I was so impressed with this family because they had so much going on and were so calm. I felt that I had my children pretty close together and they are 16 months apart but 3 children ages 2 and new makes for a very busy home for this two exceptional parents. The twins were born in November and they were 3lbs and 4lb 8oz. We photographed them in January when they were a little bigger. I am going to really enjoy seeing this family grow over the next year.

I am falling for this younger man. What a delight! He is 6 months old and I can’t wait to see him at age 1!

I always love it when we finish a session and I get that shot I was looking for. I try not to spend time reviewing the back of the camera short of checking that the lighting is coming through as I set it up. I am hoping I caught the expression that is unique to that child. I don’t want every image to have a big smile as that is not realistic and I like to capture the family as they really are. If children had a huge smile across their face all day long, it would not have the effect on us that it does when they do it. They light up, we light up. This first image below is my favourite from my time with Mr. K. I could look at it all day and I think I am going to have to find a home for it in my office or my studio.

Sweetie is 6 months!

This little doll just turned 6 months old. I love the 6 month sessions when they are sitting up but not crawling yet. Their eyes are big and open, they have a little more to say than they did at their newborn session and can be fairly easily distracted. I just want to squeeze them all with a great big hug!

This little bundle of joy came a couple weeks before Christmas to celebrate with his family. His big brother was great and really wanted to help out. I am sure they are going to be the best of buddies.
